Women On Set IN-PERSON meeting Guidelines
🌟 WOMEN ON SET – IN-PERSON & VIRTUAL GATHERING GUIDELINES (2025 VERSION)
⸻
🧭 Why do we do this?
Women On Set is an officially registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, built by and for women in the film, television, and new media industry.
Every event is created with heart, and with the intention of connecting, learning, collaborating, and growing together.
We want every gathering to be a real experience of support, creativity, and professional expansion.
⸻
🪩 IN-PERSON EVENTS
1. 🎟️ Contributions & Community Investment
• Some events have a contribution (for example, $25), but not all events cost the same. It depends on the venue, format, and resources needed.
• You can make your contribution in advance (when confirming your spot) or in cash at the door. It is non-refundable.
• This investment helps cover water, teas, snacks, logistics, and most importantly: the power of gathering with amazing women from the industry.
💡 Remember: this is a nonprofit community. No one profits — everything is reinvested in all of us.
2. ✨ What you get by attending
When you show up:
• You connect with other women in the field, face to face.
• You gain access to mentor sessions, educational gatherings, and initiatives created by Women On Set.
• You’ll be added to our private WhatsApp group, where we share daily opportunities, questions, resources, and real-time support.
• You’ll also receive visibility through our social media, where we love highlighting your talent, experience, and contribution to the industry.
Women On Set is a living, evolving community. We grow together — and your presence makes a difference.
3. 📍 About the venues
• All venues are different — some are spacious, others are cozy and intimate.
• That’s why we encourage you to travel light (no heavy bags or gear), and if possible, carpool with other members to find parking more easily and arrive together.
• Dress comfortable, professional, and light, and bring an open spirit. These spaces are made to feel safe, supportive, and inspiring.
4. 🚸 About bringing kids
We know many of us are moms, and we deeply respect that. But in order to protect the collective energy of the group and help everyone stay fully present, we kindly ask that you do not bring children to the event.
This is your time — and you deserve to enjoy it fully.
5. 🕰️ Event Schedule
• Doors open at 6:00 PM. This first hour is golden — it’s your moment to connect, network, explore the space, and discover all the activities available.
• At 7:30 PM sharp, we begin the main program or mentorship session (which ends at 8:30 PM).
• We’ll close with 30 final minutes to keep conversations flowing and wrap up the experience.
✨ Don’t miss any part of it — these three hours are for you.
6. 🤝 How you can contribute
Women On Set exists thanks to the voluntary support of its members.
No one is paid to organize this. We all bring what we can.
At each event, you’ll be invited to tell us how you’d like to contribute —
Maybe with photography, video, snacks, graphic design, social media, locations, music, setup, or simply your energy and ideas.
Everything helps. Everyone counts.
⸻
